In compliance with WHO, our Hanya masks is safe to wear with and without filter. It has 4 separate layers, with the two cotton filter layers sewn directly inside the masks. Satin silk on the inner layer to avoid mask-ne (mask acne) because it is soft to our skin. They are sturdy, comfortable, lightweight, and made from cotton-poly blend, with a pocket for adjustable filter. And when you are done wearing the mask, you can fold it into a neat little bundle and store it in the included color-matching satin silk pouch. No more wadding up a filthy mask in your pocket or dangling it from rearview mirror of your car.

Lightweight: to see if a lightweight mask is effective, the most popular rule of thumb is the light test - hold it up to sunlight and see if the weave is tight enough to block the light. Our mask blocks almost 90% of the light.

Medical grade paper-thin filter is inserted and have to be removed when washed. Our mask is safe to be worn even without the filter.

Washing instruction: soak in the water with non toxic detergent for less than 5 minutes, gentle scrubbing. Dry for at least 10 minutes, hair dryer takes 5 minutes.
