We all have our own skin care routine. Some have a bit more steps than others. But that doesn’t mean your simple current steps are bad! Different skin, different needs.


Maybe you feel like your current steps aren’t working or you feel like reducing to the basics. We’re here to remind you -- the essentials of skin care routine. 


  1. 3-basic-steps!

Cleansing, toning and moisturizing. We too get overwhelmed with the amount of skin care products these days. So, start by identifying what your skin needs and is lacking -- could be moisture or extra care if you have other skin concerns like acne. And do some research before proceeding to buy. The simpler, the better. 

      2. Wait for the magic!

Lies, it’s not actually magic. It’s more about staying consistent for at least six weeks. Stick to your basic routine every day and night. Believe us, it takes time and patience but we believe it will be worth it.

      3. Protect your Skin

This step is actually considered the most important part.  It deserves it’s own separate step.  Use your sunscreen, preferably spf 50 every single day whether you’re staying in and of course, out. It leads to -- first skin aging, which is nothing to be ashamed of but we still want to age beautifully and also to prevent from getting skin cancer. If you tend to forget, get a separate built-in day moisturizer with SPF. The rule is to apply it 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours [we too tend to forget but let’s make it a habit!]. 

      4. Extra love and attention

Some days we deserve extra steps like weekly face masks. It usually helps to make our skin super soft almost instantly! Still, it’s important to do your research and try not to overdo it because it could lead to unnecessary breakouts.
